Hi everyone,

just had to quote furtherfield because it fitted so
nicely with what I do, mostly an artist in the 'real'
world, object maker if you like, as well as dabbler in
small video projects, (and frustratingly trying to
learn flash at the moment) also actively involved in
the day to day running of an artist run gallery and
studios in beautiful downtown Perth Western Australia,
 and have participated in the adjunct staff program in
the School of Art at Curtin University for the past 2
years after graduating in 1999. 

My online life consists of a lot of looking, lurking
and liking lists, communicating via email, and
generally loving the art community that exists there
(er...here). 

Stumbled across the intro to empyre on rhizome, and am
excited that a fellow Australian has initiated it,
look forward to seeing what develops with such an
interesting group,
